About this Research Topic | Stream 3 | #C3res3
| In 2007 Paul Hawkin, author of Blessed Unrest estimated that there were one to two million organizations worldwide working toward ecological sustainability. They are all working towards a living purpose for human creativity + invention. Hawkin notes that these organizations are “working on the most salient issues of our day: climate change, poverty, deforestation, peace, water, hunger, conservation, human rights, and more.” Given the recent political events in the U.S. and in the spirit of Blessed Unrest, we have chosen to reframe the #C3 ReSearch Stream 3 around curating and participating in creation of the worldwide Ecosocial Story of a living society + world. A cohesive, compelling and actionable story redefining the fundamental vision of human development is needed now more than ever.
The development and curation of a new living story has underpinned the C3 Living Design Project’s greater purpose since we opened our blog in November of 2013. The project seeks to both create and to integrate available living design knowledge into a cohesive, salient + actionable story about the past, present and future of our planet and its inhabitants. Stream 3 will pursue ideas that help to flesh out this story
